MATH 143 - CALCULUS I This course covers in depth the differential calculus portion of a three-course calculus sequence. Topics include limits, continuity, and derivatives of algebraic and transcendental functions of one variable, with applications of differential calculus to real-world problem areas. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to apply differentiation techniques to algebraic and transcendental functions. An introduction to integration concludes the course.

Prerequisites MATH 139 or its equivalent
